Being connected to a network of people who won the battle against TB and/or answered the call to fight enables me to have a growing experience in making the most of every opportunity even times that seem dimmer than others. I am fueled with courage, boldness and strength irrespective of the challenges I faced during the pandemic of 2020. The extended isolation during the treatment motivated me to take actions. I have sharpened my knowledge about TB through virtual webinars, conferences, meetings with other advocates worldwide. I am spreading hope and confidence for a future without TB by exploring opportunities and enhancing cultural awareness in the aim to make each patient feel listened, loved and valued.
